BVLS Fiscal Year 2015 Audit
We would like to thank the Ohio Auditor of States’ office for their fiscal year 2015 audit.  The District received the highest rating for its compliance procedures as well as positive marks concerning its management practices.  In regard to the finding for recovery.  The Buckeye Valley Local School District, as well as its legal counsel, disagree with the finding of the Ohio Auditor of State’s office that the district violated Ohio Revised Code Section 9.03 (B,C), during the 2014 Bond Issue Campaign.  That being said, the district is anxious to move past this issue as it has been more than one and one-half years since it was originally brought to our attention.  As a result, the district architect has reimbursed the district for the amount in the finding for recovery.  It is our hope that this brings this issue to a final resolution.  Moving forward, the district is excited about the passage of the most recent bond issue and beginning this new chapter for the Buckeye Valley Local School District.
Stinger comes to BV West!

The Blue Jackets' mascot, Stinger, came to BV West as part of an educational program called Stinger's Challenge.  Free street hockey equipment was provided to the school as well as lunch bags and water bottles for the students!
